From Monday, January 11 through Sunday, January 31, we will be praying and fasting together as a church for God to move in our lives and our church like never before throughout 2021.
Here’s how you can participate:
6am Prayer Service On-campus
Monday through Saturday, you are invited to attend a prayer service, with music, Bible reading & prayer, on-campus at SCC at 6am. On Sundays, you are invited to attend our morning services at 9am, 10:30am, and 12pm.
Fasting
Choose what you’d like to give up for 21 days as a sacrifice to God. These should be things that you really, really like. We are recommending to fast meats, sweets, and breads for the 21 days if you do not have any health issues. Whenever you want to consume what you’re fasting, take that desire as a trigger to pray and ask God to guide and bless you, your family, SCC, and the world.

The Perfect Prayer
Our Father, who is in heaven – Thank you, God, for loving me.
Hallowed be your name – I praise you, God, for who you are, what you have done, and what you can do.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven – Have your way, God, in my life.
Give us this day, our daily bread – Give me what I need for today.
And forgive our sins – Father, forgive me.
As we forgive those who have sinned against us – Help me to forgive others even when it’s difficult to do so.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil – Help me to see temptations for what they are and help me to run away from them.
For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever – Help me to focus my eyes on you, God, instead of my troubles, knowing that you are all-powerful and will outlast any trouble I will ever face.
Amen!
